I was acquainted with him when he chose my course of Digital Image Processing last semester, and I distinctively remember that he is a clever and excellent student. He attended our Experiment Project, which was organized by our teaching staff. It was to make a small Image Processing Software, the functions which should provide including Image Enhancement in the Spatial Domain, Image Enhancement in the Frequency Domain, Image Restoration, Color Image Processing and Image Compression. At the semester final, the program Mr. Cao exhibited made a very good performance although the model was based on certain ideal conditions.

During my course, he did show great interest in this field and could always digest and absorb what I gave in the class very well, but what I value most is his focused and critical ways of thinking, he usually posed some thought-provoking questions and actively discussed these questions with me personally. Besides, as a warm-hearted young man, he was always willing to help other classmates whose English were too poor to support this bilingual course study and this is also what I do appreciate. Worthy of mention also is his personality, honest, reliable, responsible and mature.

In view of his previous achievements during his bachelor’s study, I strongly recommend this promising young man. Your favorable consideration and assistance to him will be very much appreciated.
